Merry Christmas Eve!
A ton of preparation went into the Annual Cullen Christmas Party this year & I am happy to say it was a success. My mother always worries until the last minute, but in the end, it always comes together. While yesterday’s festivities are over, I know tonight & tomorrow leaves plenty of opportunities to dress up. This little outfit is simple, but the sequins really make it pop in a crowd of party guests. I promise the Old Navy Top is super comfortable, and I could not have received more compliments on my Express skirt when I wore it to a trip to the theatre earlier this month. I accented the outfit with my some of my grandmother’s Bakelite bangles, a favorite leather handbag that I purchased at a thrift store, and a rhinestone necklace. Funny story… this necklace was actually part of a set of earrings, but I was impatient to wear the pretty stones a few years back – before my ears were pierced! So, I decided to turn one of the earrings into a necklace. I simply removed the back of the earring & placed the stud on a chain. Voila!
