My life is so vastly different from the last time I posted here.
In the last few years, I had multiple moments where I thought about starting to write again. I sadly kept finding reasons not to. I wasn’t ready. I was too emotional. I accidentally locked myself out of my WordPress for several months when I updated a plug-in that wasn’t compatible with my site (LOL).
It feels a bit incongruent to begin here with full years of context missing. Instead of focusing on the gap, I am trying to center myself with the act of returning. This song from Dispatch is one I come back to in moments of transition because this specific lyric speaks to the deepest part of my soul. “You can begin again. You can begin again.“
We can all begin again.
