Although I was not physically in attendance at New York Fashion Week, it would be impossible to not be inspired by the deluge of posts, tweets, behind-the-scenes snaps, & hashtagged uploads that accompanied the fabulous craziness that is #NYFW.
I was happy to be immersed in things on my Boston College campus these past few days. However, if I were attending the shows, I imagine this outfit that I wore to New York earlier in January would be an appropriate option.

I am a huge proponent of stylish comfort, so I would recommend WALKABLE FOOTWEAR & LIGHT BUT WARM TOPS as my go-to items. It is Fashion Week though, so it would be a basic necessity to include at least one piece of sophisticated glittery jewelry from MY FAVORITE DESIGNE HOUSE.
While I am currently merely an outsider looking in, it appears to me that those who are really making the most of this experience are the ones who are smiling – like my good friend, Catherine, who writes the blog, MY POWER POSE. She didn’t go to one event, show, or location without a 1000 watt smile. I envied not merely the clothes she wore or the people she met; I was touched by the genuine joy she expressed, evidently grateful for the opportunities she was given in New York.

In my opinion or the song from Annie, you’re never fully dressed without a smile – even just a small one.
It lets others know, “Yes, I am grateful for this moment & for all moments.”
