Winter Uniform

I wore a uniform from 5th grade until 12th grade. Sometimes, I miss the simplicity of wearing the exact outfit to school everyday. It is easier.

I love reading advice from my fashion icons (Rachel Zoe, Nina Garcia, etc.), and I have found a consistent theme in their books. Having a uniform for real life, they argue, is a simple way to make sure you look stylish in only a few minutes. While winter always makes me want to reach for skinny jeans and warm tops, I am loving this more unexpected coat & dress combination. It is almost TOO comfortable, and the navy dress and dark olive coat complement each other well. I took these photos outside, so it may not be apparent that this dress is sleeveless. On a personal note, I actually like to wear these during the winter because I overheat very easily indoors. #CullenProblems
