Another magical Christmas has come and gone. Christmas morning was everything it should be – warm & full of love.

After our typical big breakfast and a quick packing job, we were on our way to my grandmother’s house on Long Island. We stopped for appetizers at my Aunt Maureen & Uncle Frank’s house. While it is always a quick stop during our day, we always leave well-fed & with bright spirits. By the time we arrived to Wichard Boulevard, dinner was just about ready. The meal may be finished within a short time, but my family is never in a rush to leave the table. Indeed, we usually spend at least two hours at the table once we are done eating.

I love the extras of this holiday – the presents, the decor, the treats. But, Christmas is really special for me because of the people I spend it with.
