The pursuit of higher education is expensive. I know I don’t need to remind any of my readers who are high school or college students of this fact! When I graduated from high school, I was lucky to receive several scholarships, which allowed me to begin my freshman year on a strong start. Additionally, this past year I was fortunate to earn a study grant from a generous Boston College alumni program, in order to study abroad in Ireland. I will continue to apply for scholarship programs throughout my senior year, as I want to decrease my student financial obligations as much as possible before graduating.
