If you haven’t checked them out yet, read my first two posts on my Dellaria Salon & Spa series – Pamper With Dellaria & Primp With Dellaria.
My morning began with the pampering of a facial and massage, courtesy of Dellaria. The day of relaxation continued with a manicure/pedicure combination.
As I mentioned before, I love just sitting back and enjoying pedicures. I flipped through the latest issues of Marie Claire & Lucky Magazine while my feet were scrubbed, buffed, and polished. I settled on Essie’s “Big Spender” as my bright color to usher in summer once and for all.
I think the final result was pretty nifty.

My manicurist agreed with me that magenta was my color for the day. While she told me about her daughter and her new grandson, she made my nails look chic and colorful.
The final stop for the day was to the Dellaria Hair Salon, as I was due for a hair cut and style.
My stylist and I decided to cut off the dead ends on my locks in preparation for my summer internship. She chopped my hair bit by bit, while she told me all her about her son’s first birthday party that she had been planning and I told her about my study abroad experience Ireland. Before I knew it, I was several inches shorter with a blow-out ready for NYC.
BTW – I was super envious of her colorful styling tools, especially this turquoise blow dryer. Lady Gaga on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar would probably also approve.

After nine months of not cutting my hair, this was the perfect update I needed.
I am thankful to the Dellaria Salon & Spa of Newton Centre for hosting me so graciously throughout this past spring. I strongly encourage my Boston College peers and my Boston readers to visit one of their salons around the state in preparation for any upcoming graduations, proms, weddings, etc.
I promise it will be worth the visit.
