Snow Sisters

Meghan & Erin Landscape

Sisters are a special thing. Anyone who reads STYLESILIKE knows that I care about my sisters very much, as I mention them frequently.

Winter Whites #2

You may remember seeing this outfit before in one of my latest posts, Winter Whites. However, after I had finished shooting this look, my sister, Meghan, & I decided to take a couple photos together in this glorious landscape of snow. On this Thanksgiving day, our backyard was a winter wonderland. I had wanted to share these beautiful photos right away but decided to wait for a special occasion.

Now, as I mentioned, sisters are special. We love them to death, but sometimes they drive us crazy. The above picture represents this perfectly. However, one of the best things about sisters/brothers is that they support you throughout your life & celebrate your accomplishments. For example, I found out today that my Meghan, my baby sister, got into the University of Notre Dame! #TimeToCelebrate

Notre Dame is her dream school, where she hopes to pursue a degree in engineering. I know she worked hard along the way to achieve this goal. What I admire about Meghan is that she doesn’t pursue success for herself alone; she truly makes a commitment to help others (classmates, teammates, etc.) along the way.

When my other two sisters & I attended her charity fashion show last month, one of the students in the school sweetly explained how Meghan took the time to help tutor the younger girls who were struggling with tough concepts in the Physics class she had taken last year. It’s her sense of community, in addition to her personal ambition, that will make her a worthy addition to the Notre Dame student body.

Our older brother, Sean, a Notre Dame alum, wrote, “[There’s] something poetic about the Cullens beginning and ending collegiate life at ND.”

Even though I will be a Boston College Eagles fan until the day I die, I can’t wait to tailgate & cheer on the Fighting Irish with you next year. I love you so much, Meggo, and I am BEYOND proud of you! Relish this success. You have earned it. Only five more days until we are back together…

Don’t worry. The celebratory Chester Bagel sandwiches/Starbucks are on me.
