December 3

Today, I finally put up a string of Christmas lights up in my room. I decided to use them for a little artistic styling first! Every year, the seniors at my high school do a little Christmas skit. My senior year the creative minds in charge decided to use red shoes as a new way to represent Rudolph in our play. These Nike sneakers from J.Crew are my personal interpretation of the red-nosed Reindeer for this semester. Hopefully, Santa won’t need my help to guide his sleigh! xo

Besides wearing bright red kicks, here is a little list of five things that made me feel joyful.

  • Drinking hot chocolate in the Carroll School (courtesy of Fulton 360)
  • Talking to my mom on the phone about our mutual love of Christmas
  • Starting my letter to Santa…stay tuned for some lists/gift guides in the next few days
  • Planning my first giveaway which will be launching on Friday
  • Watching “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas” with Traea, especially when Paolo & Frances came to watch too!

This has always been one of my favorite films to watch during the holiday season. When I was little, I would watch it all the way into the summer months while making Christmas cards for family members. There’s a quote from it that touches me as much today, as it did then.

“Christmas isn’t about candy canes, holly or lights all aglow… It’s about the hearts that we touch and the care that we show.”

What is one of your favorite Christmas movie? #25DAYSOFSTYLESILIKE
