Spend Your Money On Everything But…

It’s the start of the spring semester, and after three months away in Maynooth, I feel eager to settle back in to this beautiful Chestnut Hill campus.

One of the most important ways for me to make the transition smoothly is to feel like I have all my school supplies as soon as possible. Usually, I take the route of determining  which books I need about a week after classes, as certain professors always advise purchasing certain texts over others once the syllabi have been passed out.

Although I know textbooks are a necessary expense, there are several items I would rather spend my money on during my junior year at Boston College than $200+ textbooks. Here’s my list of top five things I would rather buy instead.

  1. Hair Blowout from Dry Bar
  2. American Hustle Movie Tickets
  3. Anything & Everything from J.Crew’s Valentine’s Day Shop
  4. Shake Shack for Family Dinner
  5. Multiple Lululemon Headbands in Bright Colors
